Celebrate Our Successes
Wendy Yule - Winner of Synchro Ontario’s Volunteer of The Year Award

Wendy has been a committed member of MSSA for 10 years. She has volunteered countless hours as President and Past President overseeing an executive group and coaching staff to operate a very successful Competitive Program and helped to develop a Recreational Program. For the past 5 years, Wendy has organized 20 volunteers to run our fundraising Bingos three times a month for 12 months of the year. Wendy’s fundraising efforts help keep our membership fees more manageable so more girls can participate in this sport.
Wendy works full time and spends more than two hours per day commuting to and from her job as Director of Human Resources for Sun Life Financial. She is a devoted family person with two daughters who have been synchronized swimmers for many years. Her eldest daughter currently swims for Queen’s University and her youngest is in her second year of swimming at the Tier 6 level with MSSA and coaches with our club.
Wendy also carves out time to volunteer as a Synchro Ontario Judge at meets all over Ontario and has recently received her level 2 judging certification.
Wendy’s passion for and commitment to Synchronized Swimming in Ontario is evident in everything that she does. She is a positive role model for swimmers, coaches, and parent volunteers in MSSA as we witness her knowledge, value of good sportsmanship, tireless giving of her time and talent, and her keen interest in the development of swimmers at all levels. Wendy makes MSSA proud!
